Fish welfare has always been the starting point for our development work. We deal with the fish on their terms, as much as possible.

Our R&D team collaborated with veterinarians to develop our patented ejector and delousing line. In FLS CALIGUS, the fish are gently flushed with seawater, and the lice are collected so they are not released back into the sea. The fish are cleaned in a few seconds and not harmed in the process.

Profitable

Gentle handling causes very low mortality, so the fish will feed the same day that delousing occurred. This results in minimal loss to biomass, and combined with the good capacity of the delousing line, we can say with confidence that this is a profitable approach.
